Hillsboro Captures East Division Crown Wednesday, September 11th , 2097 For the 25th time in franchise history, the Hillsboro Hops are champions of the East Division. But it was no easy task, as the Hops battled until the season's final day in order to capture the title. "It makes it worth all the effort to pull it out this late," said center fielder Roberto Ramos. "It's hard to describe the feeling, but needless to say we're all feeling pretty good." The team is tops in the division with a 45-30 record and the club will be looking for the 11th Northwest League championship in franchise history. |
