Minnesota (SS-A) Won't Make Playoffs Wednesday, September 11th , 2097 When it comes to a late-season playoff disappointment, the old axiom "wait until next year" isn't overly comforting. "We really thought we would get into the playoffs this year," said Minnesota (SS-A) Twins center fielder Lawrence Peyton. "It's really disappointing to come up short." Minnesota (SS-A) last appeared in the postseason in 2093. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 56 times in their 78-year history.
