Angels Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, September 17th , 2107 The Los Angeles A (SS-A) Angels put together a respectable playoff push, but ultimately their bid to reach the postseason fell short. Today, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 11th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2096.
