Twins Advance to Round 2 Friday, September 23rd , 2107 The Minnesota (SS-A) Twins triumphed 10-1 over the Spokane Indians at Lancaster Grounds in the Round 1 to capture it 3-1. The victory advanced the Twins to the Round 2. For his superb play in the series, Twins second baseman Marco Barragan garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .467, scoring 5 runs and batting in 4. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the Round 3," Barragan said later. "I'll get to work on that." The Minnesota (SS-A) Twins don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers - Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox series.
