Royals Heading to Round 2 Monday, September 23rd , 2109 After their 8-1 win today at Burlington Athletic Stadium over the Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles, the Burlington Royals will advance to the Round 2. Burlington won the series by a 3-1 margin. Leading the way for the Royals was center fielder Ron Meyer, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Burlington Royals don't know who they will face in the next round.
