Cardinals Villalobos Tames Boston (Rk+) Sunday, August 24th , 2110 In a remarkable performance, Johnson City Cardinals starter Diego Villalobos beat the Boston (Rk+) Red Sox, 5-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Cardinals hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Boston (Rk+) manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
