Joe Hayner Injured, Out for Season Monday, July 15th , 2109 Doctors in San Diego (AZL) said Joe Hayner might not play anymore this year. The Padres reliever suffered a torn labrum during a game against the Seattle (AZL) Mariners and will be out for at least 5-6 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. To date, Hayner has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has rung up 35 strikeouts and 4 walks in 25.2 innings while registering a 3.86 ERA and a 1-2 won-lost record. |
