Nichols 5-for-5 for Seattle (AZL) Thursday, July 10th , 2098 Paul Nichols exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Peoria Sports Complex. The Seattle (AZL) left fielder had a field day in the 11-7 triumph over the Oakland (AZL) Athletics, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Nichols must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Paul Nichols hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Nichols is batting .692 with no home runs.
