Kansas City (AZL) Snaps Moy Streak at 38 Monday, July 31st , 2113 For 38 games in a row, Hsui-chuan Moy of the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians had at least one hit. His day of reckoning finally came today at the hands of the Kansas City (AZL) Royals, who held him without a hit in 4 at-bats. Making matters worse for Moy and the Guardians, the Royals also won the ballgame by the score of 1-0. "Hsui-chuan is a great clubhouse presence, and he has done incredible things on the field for us the last few weeks," Cleveland (AZL) manager Jesse Hansen said, following the game. "We're not going to forget all that just because of a bad day." On the season, Moy is batting .464 with 1 home run and 22 RBIs. He has played in 29 games. |
