League Suspends Jaramillo Wednesday, July 3rd , 2097 Mike Jaramillo was incensed today after he was suspended by the commissioner's office for 3 games following a wild argument at the Milwaukee (AZL)-Seattle (AZL) game. The league cited the Brewers third baseman for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," in the notification letter. Jaramillo strongly objected to a questionable call by the home plate umpire and was ejected. "Ejection? Maybe. But not suspension. It's ludicrous is what it is. It's totally uncalled for. I have no idea why. You have to ask the people in the league office that wear the coats and ties and don't get on the field. I didn't cause the altercation, the umpire did. It was a lousy call." On the season, Jaramillo is batting .333 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. He has played in 10 games. |
