4-Game Suspensions for Alvarez-Crossingham Fight Friday, August 15th , 2098 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Arizona (AZL) and San Francisco (AZL) game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Luis Alvarez of the Diamondbacks and Li Crossingham of the Giants have now been reprimanded and issued 4-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. Alvarez currently has a .308 batting average with 20 hits, 6 homers, 15 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .464 OBP. Checking out his season stats to date, Crossingham has no saves in 17 relief appearances. He's posted a record of 0 and 1 with an ERA of 9.38. |
