Jon Hendriks Captures AZL Award Monday, August 18th , 2098 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Jon Hendriks of Milwaukee (AZL) last week. The shortstop had quite a 6-game stretch and today he was named the Arizona Rookie League Player of the Week. Hendriks delivered 11 hits in 19 at-bats to hit .579 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. Thus far this season in 31 games Hendriks is batting .267 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 90 at-bats. |
