Cubs Heading to Round 2 Tuesday, September 10th , 2109 The Chicago N (AZL) Cubs are one step closer to the Round 2. The club prevailed 8-4 at Sloan Park tonight to eliminate the Arizona (AZL) Diamondbacks and advance to the Round 2. The Cubs won the series by a 3-1 margin, with center fielder and series MVP Anthony James leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," James said. "This was a team effort, not just me." The Chicago N (AZL) Cubs will play against the Chicago A (AZL) White Sox in the next round. Chicago A (AZL) won their series against the Milwaukee (AZL) Brewers 3 games to 1.
