Oakland (AZL) Loses Bobby Krout, Will Miss Season Sunday, August 28th , 2107 When Bobby Krout was hurt against the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs, the Oakland (AZL) Athletics were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Krout would miss 8 months of the season. So far this year, Krout has made 11 starts, tossed 56.2 innings, struck out 49 batters and walked 11. His record is 6-3 with a 1.91 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .284 batting average. |
