Means Takes AZL's Best Bat Award Saturday, September 1st , 2108 Zach Means is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the San Diego (AZL) first baseman joined that select company when the Arizona Rookie League announced the results of August's voting. Means totaled 46 hits, 16 walks, 6 home runs, 30 RBIs and 31 runs scored last month to put together a .442 batting average and .525 on-base percentage. Looking at his season stats, Means has compiled a .424 batting average and a .506 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 53 runs. |
