Means's Strong Week Earns AZL Trophy Monday, September 3rd , 2108 It was announced today that San Diego (AZL) first baseman Zach Means had received the Arizona Rookie League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .524 BA (11-for-21), 1 home run and 3 RBIs. This season in 56 games, Means has hit at a .425 clip with 96 hits, 11 home runs, 54 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
