Esparza Smacks 5 Hits for White Sox Wednesday, September 3rd , 2110 It was almost a perfect day for Ernesto Esparza. The Chicago A (AZL) second baseman displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day, but something was missing: The White Sox lost to the Los Angeles N (AZL) Dodgers, 4-3. Esparza told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle." Chicago A (AZL) manager Noel Clodfelter told the beat writers otherwise. "There was no luck today," the skipper said. "He got 5 hits because he has a solid approach to hitting and he put it all together, and we lost because the rest of us didn't put it together so well."
