Rhodes Selected GCL Player of the Week Monday, July 7th , 2098 It was some kind of week for Brian Rhodes of the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .625 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Gulf Coast Rookie League. Last week Rhodes went 15-for-24, chalked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. |
