GCL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 3rd , 2111 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Tampa Bay (GCL)'s David Wilson put up last week were the envy of the league, as Wilson came away with Gulf Coast Rookie League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 17 hits in 32 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week as he posted his .531 batting average. Thus far this year, Wilson is hitting .333 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
