Ferrer Smacks 5 Hits for Astros Saturday, July 26th , 2098 It was high-fives all around for Wilfredo Ferrer at Ballpark of Belvedere today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle. Ferrer smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 19-4 win. "Wilfredo was hitting everything," said Astros manager Edgardo Avalos. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Hustle manager Pat Gilman told BNN beat writers that Ferrer "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Ferrer oversleeps next time." Wilfredo Ferrer hit a three-run home run off Gerardo Flores in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
