Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Saturday, August 9th , 2098 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's New York A (GCL)-Atlanta (GCL) contest at Timberwolves Stadium. The Yankees Steve Luna and the Braves Alex Silva will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Luna is hitting .283 so far this season with 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 36 hits including no home runs, 10 walks and .341 OBP. This year Silva has compiled a 2-3 mark with a 3.58 ERA. |
