Yankees Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 15th , 2106 Many New York A (GCL) Yankees fans have already turned their attention to next season, and with good reason. Even with a good chunk of the schedule still left to play, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 17th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2089. In total, the Yankees have missed the playoffs 64 times in their 91-year history. New York A (GCL) last won the Round 2 in 2088. |
