Red-Hot Rampage Reaps GCL Reward Monday, August 18th , 2110 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Gulf Coast Rookie League. The award went to Darius Strange, right fielder of the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor. Strange went 11-for-22 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 4 times. Currently Strange is batting .320 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
