Season Ends for Vinny Cordova of Boston (GCL) Monday, August 25th , 2098 The season is ending on a bad note for Vinny Cordova, starting pitcher for the Boston (GCL) Red Sox. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Cordova was hurt against the Houston (GCL) Astros while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 11 months. In 7 starts this year Cordova has posted no wins while suffering 6 losses. He has pitched 35 innings, allowed 55 hits, struck out 40 and has a 7.71 ERA. |
