Northwest Division Winner is Colorado (GCL) Rockies Monday, September 12th , 2112 The Colorado (GCL) Rockies have held off the opposition and are Northwest Division champions. It was certainly no easy task as the club had a tough challenge for the division crown throughout the year, but in the end they have prevailed for the franchise's 17th division title. "You can't get complacent when the standings are as close as they are, so our guys have been focused," manager Alex Velasquez said of his team's triumph. "We're going to celebrate this one, that's for sure." The club will be going for its 4th Round 2 and optimism is running high. "Why not us? We can certainly win this thing," said closer Cody Baran. |
