Scott Morse Out for Season
Tuesday, August 26th , 2098
Scott Morse will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Colorado (GCL) reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Morse was injured while throwing a pitch in the Rockies-Red Sox clash at JetBlue Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 4 months.

Morse has compiled an ERA of 6.87 so far this season, winning 2 games with 2 losses and 1 save. In 22 relief appearances he has hurled 36.2 innings, yielded 43 hits and struck out 42. Opposing hitters have batted .289 against Morse.
