Jaylin Richardson did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Ballpark of Belvedere. For the last 20 games in a row, the 25-year-old center fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Houston (GCL) Astros beat the Minnesota (GCL) Twins, 5-3. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Richardson told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Houston (GCL) clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Jaylin Richardson grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Richardson is currently hitting at a .352 pace with 4 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
