Toronto (GCL) Season Won't Continue in Playoffs
Saturday, September 22nd , 2108
Jhoandry Moore said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays after they missed the Gulf Coast Rookie League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today.

The Blue Jays have made the playoffs 11 times in their 93 years as a Gulf Coast Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2099. In the last 10 seasons, the Blue Jays have only made the playoffs once. Toronto (GCL) last won the Round 2 in 2046.
