Red Sox Lose Aguirre for Season Wednesday, September 17th , 2098 Doctors in Boston (GCL) said Erick Aguirre might not play anymore this year. The Red Sox starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff during a game against the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles and will be out for at least 8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. To date this season Aguirre sports a 0-6 mark with a 11.03 ERA in 11 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .377 batting average and has 41 strikeouts in 40 innings. |
