Rowdy Players Suspended by League Saturday, September 3rd , 2107 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Minnesota (GCL)-Detroit (GCL) contest at Joker Marchant Stadium. The Twins Edgar Isiordia and the Tigers Bob Richie will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year, Isiordia has collected a .278 batting average to date with 44 hits in 158 at-bats, 28 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 19 times. He has played in 49 games. For the year, Richie has saved 3 games while posting an ERA of 8.78 and 29 strikeouts in 27.2 innings. His totals also include a 0-4 record in 14 relief appearances. |
