Postseason Bid Ends for Minnesota (GCL) Tuesday, September 6th , 2107 The Minnesota (GCL) Twins may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Gulf Coast Rookie League. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Twins manager Antonio Rodriguez said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Minnesota (GCL) last appeared in the postseason in 2101. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 70 times in their 92-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Twins have only made the playoffs once. Minnesota (GCL) last won the Round 2 in 2027. |
