Mariners Jose Castillo Down and Out for Year Friday, June 29th , 2108 The season is apparently over for Jose Castillo. The Seattle (Rk+) Mariners medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 13 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Castillo was hurt in the game against Missoula while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. |
