David Cantu Lost for Season Saturday, July 26th , 2098 David Cantu will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Billings reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Cantu was injured while throwing a pitch in the Mustangs-Osprey clash at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months. This season Cantu has logged 11 relief appearances, 16.1 IP, 17 strikeouts, and a 4.41 ERA. His W-L mark is 1 win and no losses, and he has no saves. |
