Missoula's Leiva Bags PIO Batting Award Friday, August 1st , 2098 Even though he is a newcomer to Pioneer League, Jose Leiva put up some good numbers in July and earned the PIO Batter of the Month award. He was one of Missoula's offensive leaders with a .418 average in 26 games. He also racked up 15 home runs, 36 RBIs, and 25 runs scored. For the year Leiva has hit .382 with 18 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 36 runs. |
