Hustle Listless in 7-0 Loss to Cubs Monday, August 20th , 2108 It wasn't easy but the Chicago (Rk+) Cubs made it look that way. Starter Carlos Cruz shut out the Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Chicago (Rk+) Cubs cruised to victory, 7-0. Cruz allowed only 4 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
