They came up empty when it mattered against Ogden Raptors right-hander Jesus Espinal, who scattered 2 hits across 7 innings and held the Owlz scoreless. "We had 2 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Orem manager Dan Baer said later. Espinal chalked up 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 8-0 Raptors win.
