Mustangs Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 4th , 2109 At times during the season, it seemed like the Billings Mustangs might put together a promising campaign, but it was not to be. Today, the Billings Mustangs are left waiting for next year after being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Mustangs had a streak of 8 straight playoff appearances before this year. In the 94 years they have been a Pioneer League franchise, they have made the playoffs 60 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Mustangs have only missed the playoffs once. Billings has won the Round 3 10 times in their history. |
