Rangers Crowned Kings of the East Sunday, August 31st , 2110 The Texas (Rk+) Rangers are champions of the East, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Round 3," said starting pitcher Fred Hartsoe. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Texas (Rk+)." The club's record currently sits at 45-23. It is the team's 22nd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 7th Pioneer League championship. Team manager Jimmy Terrell said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
