San Francisco Lose, 6-0, to Dodgers, Benedict Wednesday, July 6th , 2107 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the San Francisco Giants as starter Billy Benedict shut them out, 6-0, at AT&T Park. The Los Angeles pitcher struck out 11 and walked 0 while allowing 6 hits. "Benedict was good but he wasn't flawless," San Francisco manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Los Angeles, but this is on us."
