Cubs Heading to Division Series Sunday, October 9th , 2101 After their 3-2 win today at AT&T Park over the San Francisco Giants, the Chicago Cubs will advance to the Division Series. Chicago won the series by a 2-0 margin. Leading the way for the Cubs was left fielder Elijah Fairchild, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
