Pirates Advance to Division Series Saturday, October 8th , 2107 The Los Angeles Dodgers were simply overmatched by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Wild Card. The end result was a sweep, as Pittsburgh has cruised to the Division Series, with the final win coming at Dodger Park by a score of 6-4. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Jonathan Nelson, who was named MVP of the Wild Card. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Nelson hit .333 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.
