Blue Jays Win Championship Series Saturday, November 2nd , 2097 Fans at Comerica Park saw the Championship Series come to a close today, as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Detroit Tigers by a score of 8-6, and advanced to the World Series. Toronto won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the World Series. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said left fielder Matt Gordon, who was named series MVP.
