St. Paul Blanks Milwaukee, Whisner Winner
Tuesday, June 16th , 2111
It was not a good day at the plate for the Milwaukee Milkmen. They came up empty when it mattered against St. Paul Saints left-hander Matt Whisner, who scattered 3 hits across 9 innings and held the Milkmen scoreless.
"We had 3 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Milwaukee manager Javier Montufar said later.
Whisner chalked up 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 5-0 Saints win.
This season, Whisner has 2 wins and 3 losses and a 5.25 ERA.
