Wednesday, June 11th , 2110
Carlos Mendez found his groove in today's game versus the Winnipeg Goldeyes and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-6 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Kansas City T-Bones, as the club lost the game, 11-10.
The 26-year-old first baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."
"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Mendez said.
Carlos Mendez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
A look at his current stats shows Mendez with a .340 average, 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 24 games.
