Kline Untouchable, Tosses No-Hitter
Saturday, July 13th , 2109
It was a fantastic day for Henderson Admirals starter John Kline and a lousy day for the Sioux City Explorers.
The Henderson hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Explorers, as the Admirals cruised to a 4-0 win. When it was all over, Kline was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.
"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Kline said later.
He rang up 10 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Sioux City down at Ballpark of Henderson.
So far this year, Kline has 3 wins and 3 losses and a 4.75 ERA.
