Henderson-Cleburne Brawl, Villa and Peters Suspended Monday, June 30th , 2110 After an intense confrontation, both the Admirals William Villa and the Railroaders Jake Peters were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Henderson-Cleburne game. William Villa will miss 4 games, while Jake Peters was suspended for 9 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," William Villa commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year, Villa is hitting .285 with 45 hits, 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 22 runs. Thus far this season, Peters has compiled a 1-0 record, made 9 relief appearances with 1 save, hurling 10.2 innings and striking out 8.
