Saltdogs Vega Out Rest Of Season Sunday, August 2nd , 2111 Pablo Vega will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Lincoln starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Vega was injured while throwing a pitch in the Saltdogs-AirHogs clash at Haymarket Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 12-13 months. On his stats sheet this season, Vega shows a 5-3 record, 14 starts, 70.1 innings, 67 strikeouts and a 4.61 ERA. |
