Gary SouthShore first baseman Miguel Escobedo has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 5 at-bats as the Gary SouthShore took the 8-2 win over the Kansas City T-Bones at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

"Who knows how long it will go on?" Kansas City manager Mike Hoffman said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now."
Miguel Escobedo struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
