Rijo and Mahan Traded Friday, February 21st , 2098 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Canaries announced today the acquisition of 23-year old C Austin Mahan and 22-year old RHP Danny Ryan from the St. Paul Saints in exchange for 21-year old LHP Jon Rijo. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Canaries, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
