Orellana Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, August 8th , 2108 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bobby Orellana -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Ballpark of Henderson and paced the 10-3 Milkmen win over the Henderson Admirals. After his dynamite batting performance, the Milwaukee right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Bobby Orellana tripled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Currently Orellana is hitting .320 and has collected 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 60 times, while playing in 73 games. |
